Miam, miam!

This Friday our Grade 7/8 students had a lovely walk during noon hour to Le Croissant, 276 Taché Avenue, where they ordered their desserts and baguettes en français!

Grade 6 students are looking forward to an outing as well.  They will be attending the French part of the Winnipeg International Story Telling Festival this Wednesday.

This past week, Grade 6 students practiced and were evaluated on their reading of a dialogue based on our work in "Les aventures en plein air".  Grade 7/8 students also did this work with the addition of creating questions for one of the characters in the dialogue who spoke of her camping adventures.

Grade 3-5 students have been using adjectives as well as adverbs in sentences to describe themselves and their classmates.  We began reading some text in our Echos Pro unit, "Les animaux et nous", learning about some animals who help people in various ways. Students in Grades 4 and 5 will be evaluated on their reading. We will also be preparing for Mother's Day so it will be a very busy week!

Bonne fin de semaine!

Mme Christensen
